Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking five dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join schools in Barking and Dagenham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with diverse SEN needs, including Autism, ADHD, and Speech and Language difficulties.
- Work closely with class teachers and SEN coordinators to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Assist in creating an inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth.
- Support students' social, emotional, and academic development, ensuring they feel safe and encouraged.
- Help with daily classroom activities, including one-to-one and small group sessions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting learning and behavior.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the school and students.
