Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Camden, London
Start Date: January 2025
A lovely primary school in Camden is looking for an experienced SEN TA to support 2 pupils across Year 2 and Year 3.
The pupils both have EHCP's, with one child having Down Syndrome and the other a diagnosis of autism. Your role will be to;
- Design and deliver bespoke learning activities and interventions to support the children's academic development
- Use adapted communication methods to support language development and processing (Knowledge of visuals would be great!)
- Support the emotional and social development by supporting the children in building friendships
- Support the class teacher with classroom management
- Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment for all pupils
- Liaise with the school SENCO and maintain an open channel of communication with parents/carers
The school are looking to interview ASAP and have someone in place by January 2025.
