Reeson Education is seeking compassionate and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistants to work across schools in the borough of Waltham Forest, including areas such as Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone, and Chingford. This flexible role involves supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN), either on a 1:1 basis or within dedicated SEN units in mainstream schools.

Your Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, or other learning needs.
- Work within SEN units to support small groups of pupils with specific needs.
- Collaborate with class teachers and SENCOs to adapt lesson plans and ensure pupil engagement.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment for all pupils.
What We're Looking for in an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with pupils with SEN, including 1:1 and group settings.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting diverse needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with school staff and families.
- Relevant qualifications such as Level 2/3 in Childcare or SEN-specific training are a plus but not essential.
