About the Role:

  • Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
  • Location: Lewisham, South East London
  • Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
  • Daily Rate: £90 per day (increasing to £100.21 per day after 12 weeks)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a child in the nursery with sensory needs.
  • Implement techniques from Attention Autism to support engagement and learning.
  • Assist with personal care as part of the child's daily routine.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff to ensure the child's needs are met.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive environment for early development.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with sensory needs and a solid understanding of early years education.
  • Familiarity with Attention Autism approaches is highly desirable.
  • A compassionate and proactive individual committed to supporting children with additional needs.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
