Tradewind are looking for dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to join the Additional Resourced Provision (ARP) of a welcoming Primary School in Hillingdon, West London. This role is perfect for someone with a background in SEND support who thrives in an inclusive, nurturing environment. This is a full-time role from April 2025, if you are looking for part time/short term work, please also consider applying as there will be flexible opportunities available.

The Role:

  • Providing tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Neurodiverse needs and Autism.
  • Working closely with the SENDCo and specialist teachers to implement EHCP targets effectively.
  • Supporting children in developing their social and communication skills.
  • Creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Employing de-escalation strategies and positive behaviour support techniques.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with SEND, particularly Autism and Social-Emotional needs.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for pupils.
