Long Term Futures are partnering with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Kensington and Chelsea, W10, to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for their Additional Resource Provision (ARP). This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and additional needs in a specialised setting.

Key responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils within the ARP, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Support the class teacher in delivering tailored lesson plans and strategies to meet individual Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Use visual resources, sensory tools, and structured timetables to aid learning and engagement.
- Assist with emotional regulation, promoting positive behaviour, and managing challenges effectively.
- Help pupils transition between activities and settings, building their independence.
- Support with personal care, if required, ensuring pupils' dignity and comfort at all times.
- Communicate effectively with staff, families, and external professionals to ensure consistent support.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience supporting children with ASD and complex needs.
- Be confident using visual schedules, reward systems, and sensory strategies.
- Demonstrate patience, resilience, and the ability to build strong relationships.
- Be passionate about inclusive education and helping children achieve their potential.
- Hold relevant qualifications or experience in working within SEN settings (desirable).
