SEN Teaching Assistant - Role Overview:

• Provide tailored support to KS1 students with special educational needs.
• Assist with the implementation of IEPs (Individual Education Plans) to promote progress.
• Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
• Help develop pupils' confidence, independence, and social skills.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly supporting children with SEN.
• A solid understanding of special educational needs in a primary school setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
• A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to learning support.
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
