A fantastic primary school in Greenwich is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with additional needs. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is compassionate, patient, and motivated to help children reach their full potential.
?? Location:Greenwich, London?? Start Date: April 1st, 2025?? Salary: £85 - £120 per day (dependent on experience)?? Interview Dates: Week commencing February 1st, 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students with a variety of SEN including autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.* Work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies.* Provide tailored one-on-one and small group support to foster academic and personal growth.* Help manage classroom behaviour and support sensory needs.* Encourage the development of confidence, independence, and active participation in students with SEN.

What We're Looking For:
- Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a primary school environment.* A genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs as a SEN Teaching Assistant.* Strong communication and teamwork skills to build relationships with students, staff, and parents.* A clear understanding of safeguarding procedures and a strong commitment to student welfare.* SEN-related qualifications or training (desirable but not essential).
