SEN Teaching Assistants - £85-£100 per day - ASAP start - Key stage 2 & 3 - SEN School - ASD Setting - Long-term, full-time
We are looking for x4 SEN Teaching Assistants for a SEN school in Barnet. This role requires you to:
- Be able to commit to Monday-Friday, 8.30am-4pm
- Have existing experience with young people or be passionate about working in SEN
- Have an enhanced DBS Certificate or willing to process one ASAP
- Be able to trial or interview ASAP
- School caters to primary & secondary students

The school - SEN Teaching Assistant ?
This lovely independent SEN setting caters to SEN students across Primary & Secondary key stages are seeking 3-5 SEN Teaching Assistant. The students there primarily have Autism sometimes paired with other diagnoses. Many of their students also have ADHD and/or Dyslexia.
The school is based in the heart of Barnet and has amazing transport links such as overground, underground and local bus routes. They support students with a mixture of abilities across year groups offering an inclusive, safe learning environment for their students.
The school offers ongoing training / CPD throughout the academic year and are big on staff well-being and support. They have a large team full of passion and energy. They were awarded an Outstanding rating by Ofsted in May 2022 and have Advanced Accreditation Status from the National Autistic Society.
Your Role - SEN Teaching Assistant
As a SEN TA - You will support teachers with classroom practice and assist pupils in their academic, social, and emotional learning. Committed to providing the best opportunities for the students, you will work with a rewarding but sometimes challenging group of learners, ensuring that every child is supported to achieve their full potential.
This role will be based with students in Key Stage 2,3,4 & 5 so you will need to be flexible and open to supporting a mixture of age groups. The successful candidate will primarily be based at either the Lower or Upper site but may also work across all three campuses as needed and accompany students to external places of learning.
