SEN Teaching Assistant · Location: Dartford · Job Type: Temporary but full time (potential for permanent) · Salary: GBP90 - GBP110 per day (based on experience) We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive SEMH Primary and Secondary school located in Dartford, Kent - East London. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs, particularly those with Autism and PMLD. Day-to-day of the role: · Work one-to-one with students with SEN needs, providing tailored support to enhance their learning experience. · Collaborate with teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to meet students' needs. · Assist with the development of social skills and positive behaviour in a classroom setting. · Monitor and report on the progress of students, contributing to assessments and reviews. · Provide a safe and nurturing environment for students to learn and grow. Required Skills & Qualifications: · Proven experience working one-to-one with students with SEN needs, particularly Autism and PMLD. · Strong academic background. · Minimum of 1 year working in a UK school setting. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to working with children. · Must be willing to undergo compliance checks and be available for an immediate interview.
