SEND Learning Support Assistant

- £95 to £100 per day
We are looking for outstanding SEND Teaching Assistants in Southwark, London, who have experience supporting SEND students. We seek enthusiastic, hands-on individuals who are passionate about working with students with autism, PMLD, and complex needs. The school highly values strong support and the ability to assist students with their learning and care. Additionally, you will play a vital role in fostering an inclusive learning environment. To be successful for this role you must:
- Bring passion, enthusiasm, and a commitment to working in SEND learning environments.
- Have knowledge and experience with SEND students or a solid background in supporting individuals with autism, PMLD, or other disabilities.
- Possess experience in the education or care sector, supporting either adults or children.
- Make a meaningful contribution to the students' learning journey.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting students in the classroom both individually and in groups.
- Supervising children inside and outside the classroom.
- Be prepared to provide personal care as needed.
- Encouraging and supporting students in their learning.
- Aiding the teacher in lesson preparation and activity planning.
