  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, particularly those with SEN.
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support students with social and emotional development.
  • Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
  • Monitor and record students' progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
  • Understanding of SEN and experience supporting children with additional needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
