- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, particularly those with SEN.
- Help to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support students with social and emotional development.
- Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
- Monitor and record students' progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
- Collaborate with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
- Understanding of SEN and experience supporting children with additional needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
