Are you passionate about helping children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) succeed in their education? We are seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Learning Assistant to join a forward-thinking primary SEND school in Wandsworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one and group support to students with SEN, focusing on their individual learning needs.
- Work closely with teachers to implement and adapt Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages emotional and social growth.
- Support classroom activities to ensure all students are fully engaged and included.
- Maintain open communication with families and carers, providing regular updates on progress and development.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with SEN students is beneficial, but we welcome applications from those with a passion for helping children thrive.
- The ability to adapt and tailor learning approaches to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families.
- A valid driver's license and access to a car are helpful but not essential for this role in Wandsworth.
