Sanza Teaching Agency is recruiting on behalf of primary schools in the London Borough of Islington for dedicated and versatile Teaching Assistants to provide supply and day-to-day cover. This is an exciting opportunity to work in various school settings, supporting children across all primary year groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to teachers in the classroom, helping to deliver engaging lessons.
  • Work 1:1 or with small groups to support children's learning and development.
  • Assist in managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.
  • Support children with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they can access the curriculum and make progress.
  • Adapt to the varying needs of different schools and year groups.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a classroom setting is preferred.
  • Ability to support children with special needs, including those with Autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties.
  • A versatile, adaptable approach to working in different school environments.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
