Someone with a sports background would be ideal for this role. This school offers excellent facilities for pupils and staff.About your role as the SEN LSAYou will be supporting a Yr 6 pupil on a 1:1 basis each morning ensuring the student is safe, calm and engaged in their learning.In the afternoon, you may be required to do some general TA work in other classes in the school.Some of your other duties will include

  • Offering support within the classroom
  • Becoming familiar and acting on school policies and procedures
  • Ensuring the pupil is actively engaged in learning and working with this pupil with sporting activities

What you will need to succeed

  • A relevant qualification in education, childcare or SEN, or equivalent experience.
  • A good understanding of the needs of pupils with learning difficulties and sensory needs.
  • A positive and flexible attitude, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a sense of humour
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
