A welcoming and inclusive three-form entry primary school in Acton is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children in Year 6. This role involves running interventions for pupils with additional needs, ensuring they receive tailored support to help them thrive academically and emotionally.

This vibrant and well-resourced school has a strong SEN team, fantastic facilities, and an experienced Senior Leadership Team (SLT) that provides ongoing support to staff. Located right next to the Central Line, commuting couldn't be easier!

The Role:
  • Delivering small-group and 1:1 interventions for SEN children in Year 6.
  • Supporting pupils with EHCPs and adapting learning materials to suit individual needs.
  • Working closely with the SENDCo and class teachers to implement effective support strategies.
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour in a positive and nurturing manner.
  • Providing emotional and academic support to help children build confidence.
Requirements:

? Previous experience supporting SEN pupils, ideally in Key Stage 2.? A patient, caring, and proactive approach.? Strong knowledge of intervention strategies for children with additional needs.? Right to work in the UK and a DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
