Are you a passionate and experienced teacher with a strong understanding of Special Educational Needs? We are seeking a qualified teacher with QTS to join our dedicated team in London, supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).



Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with SEMH and PMLD.
  • Plan, assess, and monitor progress to ensure all students reach their full potential.
  • Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans (BSPs).
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes for students.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience working with students with SEMH and/or PMLD in a school setting.
  • Strong behavior management and differentiation skills.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
