SEN Administrator

Location: Greenwich
Salary: £120 per day

GSL Education London Branch is seeking a dedicated SEN Administrator to join a dynamic team at a client secondary school in Greenwich. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs and a strong background in SEN administration.

Responsibilities of a SEN Administrator:
  • Manage and handle annual reviews for SEN students.
  • Liaise with local authorities and other professional bodies regarding SEN matters.
  • Deal with sensitive safeguarding information and ensure confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress and concerns.
  • Minute student support panels and other relevant meetings.
  • Support the teaching and learning of SEN students across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Requirements of a SEN Administrator:
  • Previous experience as an SEN Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Sufficient SEN admin experience, including managing annual reviews and liaising with local authorities.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to teach and support students at KS3, KS4, and KS5 levels.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Bengali speakers preferred.
