We are currently working in partnership with an outstanding specialist college who support young people & adults between the ages of 16 - 25 with a range of special education needs and/or disabilities. They have multiple sites based across South West London and a full & dedicated team all working towards the same goal - offering life-changing learning opportunities to all the students who attend the college!!

The students who attends have a wide range of needs including PMLD (profound & multiple learning difficulties), communication & behavioural difficulties & specific medical needs.  

The college is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic lecturer who specialises in PMLD & ASC.

 

You will:

  • Plan differentiated work to meet the needs of individuals
  • Be able to accurately access need and deliver teaching reflective of the needs of each student 
  • Carefully plan lessons so they cater to the needs of students 
  • Work in conjunction with the rest of the school team including therapists, senior leadership & support staff 
  • Be a qualified teacher (this role is not suitable for unqualified teachers) 
  • Have recent experience supporting students with special needs
