About Us:

Our school in Lambeth has an exciting opportunity available to support pupils with challenging behaviour. They are looking for an ambitious Behaviour TA to join their primary team as they focus on the progress of their SEN pupils. If you are looking for a new challenge in a primary school, please read on!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher work with SEMH/ SEN pupils.
  • Differentiate work according to each child’s individual needs.
  • Have good organisational skills.
  • Have good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Provide one-on-one support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required.
  • Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Experience: Previous experience working with SEMH/ SEN pupils
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of behaviour management
  • Desirable: Experience working with children with SEN in a school/ provision.
