Position: Class Teacher - Primary Salary: £31650 - £49084 Per annum

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in English, Maths, ICT, PSHE, life skills, and more, adapting content to meet the individual needs of pupils.
  • Teach a sensory curriculum to pupils with SEN.
  • Lead and deploy teaching assistants to effectively support pupil learning, therapy, and care.
  • Plan and assess pupil progress using school systems, collecting evidence of achievements and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with multi-professional teams, ensuring therapy programmes are incorporated into the teaching plan.
  • Write comprehensive reports for Annual Reviews and liaise with external agencies as needed.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and carers, including attendance at parents' evenings.
  • Participate actively in professional development, INSET programmes, and contribute to the School Development Plan.
  • Engage in curriculum planning, development, and enhancement activities such as assemblies, performances, and special themed weeks.
