Job Title: Class Teacher
Location: Hackney, London
Salary: Based on scale
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
The successful candidate will have a strong background in behaviour management and experience working with children with SEN. You will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment, delivering high-quality lessons, and supporting the individual needs of each student.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Support students with SEN, ensuring they have access to the curriculum and are able to achieve their full potential.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student learning and well-being.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in behaviour management and working with children with SEN.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
