A fantastic primary SEND school in Lambeth is looking for a compassionate and proactive SEN Learning Mentor to join their dedicated team. Your Role:
- Provide tailored support to children with SEN, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Work alongside teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adjust learning strategies to suit individual needs.
- Encourage an inclusive classroom atmosphere that inspires confidence and growth.
- Assist in classroom activities, ensuring all students feel engaged and included.
- Maintain regular communication with parents and carers to celebrate progress and address concerns.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with SEN students is welcome but not essential-enthusiasm, patience, and a willingness to learn are key.
- A flexible approach to adapting teaching methods for diverse learning needs.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families.
- While not required, having a driver's license and access to a car may be helpful for the Lambeth area.
