About the Role:We are currently recruiting for an experienced Design and Technology Teacher to join a fantastic independent school that specialises in working with students with dyspraxia, dyscalculia and dyslexia.

  • Plan and deliver engaging and accessible Design and Technology lessons tailored to the needs of students
  • Teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Inspire creativity and practical skills development in a safe, inclusive, and well-equipped environment.
  • Adapt the curriculum to suit the abilities and interests of your students, fostering their confidence and independence.
  • Work closely with support staff, therapists, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development.

What We're Looking For:The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching Design and Technology.
  • A strong understanding of working with students with special educational needs, ideally in a school setting.
  • Creativity, patience, and the ability to differentiate lessons to suit a wide range of abilities.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
  • A passion for inspiring students and helping them achieve their potential.
