Ribbons & Reeves are looking for an exceptional English Graduate to support students in an Ofsted graded 'Outstanding' Secondary School and Sixth Form in Wandsworth as an English Academic Mentor.
English Academic Mentor | The Role:
- £25,000 per year pro rata to term time only | 1 year contract from September 2024
- Opportunities to be enrolled onto the school's Teacher Training programme from September 2025
- Leading small group sessions with A-Level / GCSE students, as well as supporting students in class
- Mentorship from experienced teachers, and access to tailored training sessions to enhance your skills
- A First-Class English Degree (at least a 2:1) from a top UK University
- Previous child-centred experience
- Commitment to a full academic year with aspirations to become an English Teacher
- Confidence in delivering English sessions to students with a range of academic abilities
