Milk Education are currently recruiting for Inclusion Tutors in the Greenwich area, the role of a Inclusion tutor is to support students is to work with PEX and SEN students whilst they are waiting a new school place or specialist provision. As your role as a Inclusion tutor you must have a good understanding of the UK Curriculum particularly in Maths and English from KS3-KS4. You will also be supporting with confidence building, communication development and emotional support.

This role will be based in a hubs, libraries and homes.

About the role:

-        Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in need of academic support

-        Develop personalized lesson plans and instructional materials based on the student's needs and learning style

-        Assist students with homework assignments, test preparation, and study skills

-        Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians

-        Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to ensure student success

-        Utilize various teaching strategies and techniques to engage and motivate students

-        Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress

About you:

-        Experience working with children, particularly in an educational setting

-        Subject specialist and previous experience as a tutor

-        Knowledge of special education principles and practices is a plus

-        Strong ability to educate and communicate effectively with students of different needs, ages and backgrounds

-        Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

-        Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple students and assignments simultaneously

-        Reliable transportation to travel to tutoring sessions (if applicable)

-        Understanding of the UK Curriculum

-        Able to plan and prepare lessons

-        Effective in relationship building

-        Reliable and consistent
