Level 5 Dyslexia Tutor - Independent School, Kensington (Part-Time)

An esteemed independent school in Kensington is seeking a qualified Level 5 Dyslexia Tutor to provide specialist support to a Year 3 pupil twice a week. This is a part-time opportunity within a nurturing and well-resourced environment, starting as soon as possible.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide individualised, evidence-based interventions tailored to the needs of a Year 3 pupil with dyslexia.
  • Use multisensory teaching strategies to enhance literacy skills, build confidence, and foster a love for learning.
  • Monitor progress, adapt lesson plans as needed, and provide regular feedback to parents and school staff.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to support the pupil's overall development.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Holds a Level 5 or higher qualification in Dyslexia/Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD).
  • Has experience working with primary-aged students, ideally within an independent school setting.
  • Is passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping students reach their full potential.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills.
