The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and patient SEN Primary School Teacher to join our dedicated team. You will be responsible for planning and delivering personalised lessons, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive both academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

  • Work closely with support staff, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement personalised education plans (EHCPs)

  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records

  • Promote positive behaviour management strategies

  • Contribute to the wider school community and participate in staff meetings and training sessions

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience working with children with SEN (Autism, SEMH, Speech & Language Needs)

  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with additional needs
