Primary SEN Teacher - Waltham Forest

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to join a fantastic school in Waltham Forest. This role involves working with students with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), helping them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities - Education and Training - Waltham Forest
  • Lesson Planning & Delivery: Plan and deliver creative, inclusive lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SLD and MLD.
  • Individualised Learning: Adapt teaching strategies and resources to support the varied learning abilities and developmental needs of each student.
  • Behaviour Management: Implement positive behaviour management techniques to create a safe and engaging classroom environment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with support staff, therapists, and families to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Assessment & Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress, maintain detailed records, and adjust lesson plans accordingly.

Requirements - Primary SEN Teacher:
  • Experience working with students with SLD and MLD in a primary setting
