I am working with a dedicated school in Lewisham, London, looking for an SEN Teacher to lead a small class of students with varying needs. This role offers the flexibility of a long-term placement with a view to permanency or a direct permanent position, depending on your preference.



The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Be the class teacher for a small group of students with high special and complex needs.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across multiple subjects, tailored to meet individual needs.
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure every child thrives.

  • QTS, QTLS, or PGCE (non-negotiable).
  • Experience with Special, Complex or Social and Emotional Mental Health needs is desired.

  • The ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
  • Versatility to teach multiple subjects and tailor approaches to individual learning styles.
