A well-regarded SEN school near Hillingdon is looking for a Classroom Mentor to support students both on a 1:1 basis and in groups. The students, aged 3 to 18, have a wide range of needs including Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, behavioural challenges, sensory issues, physical disabilities, and communication difficulties.
You'll play an essential role in assisting with behaviour, well-being, and emotional regulation, while working closely with the SENCo and class teachers to ensure that each student's learning goals are being met. You'll provide vital academic and emotional support to students, helping them thrive in their learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate:
- Resilient and able to stay calm under pressure
- Compassionate, caring, and able to bring positive energy into the classroom
- Previous experience with children (especially those with additional needs) is beneficial, but not essential-personality and dedication are most important
- This role is ideal for recent graduates looking for experience in education or for those interested in psychology or mental health
Position Details:
- Role: SEN Classroom Mentor
- Location: Hillingdon area
- Pay: £83 to £90 per day
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
- Start: ASAP
