Tradewind is looking for an DT teacher for a SEMH school in North London. The role is full time starting in January with scope to become permanent after 2 terms.

The school:

An Alternative Provision (AP) for children and their families with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Their vision is to provide pupils with the confidence, educational progress and ambition necessary for a successful reintegration into mainstream school. This includes cultivating a productive lifestyle, personal resilience and the values required to become responsible members of society.

As DT teacher you will be responsible for the below:

路 Planning delivering lessons to pupils with SEMH

路 Working with the support staff to put in place and run interventions.

路 Support behaviour by following the children's plans

路 Updating and setting targets for children.

路 Working alongside other professionals in the support network

To join us and be successful in this role you will need:

路 Full QTS with experience of teaching secondary DT

路 Previous experience working within SEMH

路 An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

路 Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible

路 Legal right to work in the UK
