SEN PMLD Teacher needed for a Secondary SEN School within the Lambeth area this is a long term role.

Are you a teacher who is passionate about helping students with special educational needs? We are looking for a SEN PMLD Teacher to work in a secondary school in Lambeth, supporting students aged 11-19 with Autism (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and complex needs.

Location: Lambeth
School Type: Secondary SEN School (Ages 11-19)
Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
Salary : Equivalent to mainstream teacher rate plus SEN Points

About the Role:
  • Plan and teach lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with ASD, PMLD, and complex needs.
  • Use creative and sensory-based activities to help students learn and develop new skills.
  • Work with teaching assistants and therapists to provide the best care and support for students.
  • Create a safe and positive classroom environment that encourages learning and independence.
  • Help students with their personal care needs when required.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience working with SEN students.
  • Experience teaching students with PMLD, ASD, or complex needs is preferred.
  • Someone who is patient, caring, and creative in their teaching approach.
  • A good communicator who can lead and work well with a supportive team.
