SEN Teacher - SE15, Peckham - Immediate start

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for an Special needs Teacher for a Specialist Peckham primary school. The school looks to help students grow confidence, independence and personal skills.

Facilitating children and young people KS1-KS4 positions are available for Teachers with Primary and Secondary experience as well as those who are looking to vary their focus across age groups.

Daily Rate: Paid to scale
Location: Peckham, SE15
Contract Type: Full Time, Temp-Perm
Start Date: Immediate (March 2025)
Class sizes: 16-20 based on provision

The successful applicant will have:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
  • UK Classroom Experience.
  • Previous SEN Experience.
  • Ability to plan and deliver high quality, engaging lessons.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with staff, parents and students.
  • Up to date safeguarding certificate issues within the last year.

To be eligible for this role through prospero, you must:

  • Hold the right to work in the UK.
  • Hold or Process and enhanced DBS certificate registered to the Update Service.
  • Provide two professional references covering the last two years.
