We are currently working with a well-established and nurturing Autism Specialist Primary School in Redbridge, who are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This school provides exceptional support for children aged 4-11 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), many of whom have additional communication, sensory, and behavioural needs.

As part of a forward-thinking and supportive team, you will be delivering creative and individualised lessons to a small class of pupils with a high staff-to-student ratio. You will be supported by experienced Teaching Assistants and access to therapy teams on-site, including speech and language, occupational therapy, and behaviour support specialists.

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential

  • Experience teaching pupils with autism and/or complex needs

  • Strong knowledge of strategies such as PECS, Makaton, and TEACCH is a bonus

  • An empathetic, patient, and resilient approach to teaching

  • Someone who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment
