SEN Support - Newham

An amazing Secondary School in the Borough of Newham is looking for diligent and committed graduate to provide support to their students with Maths, English, Science and more. As an SEN Support, you will be required to assist students in the classroom environment and in small groups/1:1.

The SEN Support role involves supporting pupils with SEND/SEMH needs in progressing with their learning and personal development.

SEN Support Job Description

  • SEN Teaching Assistant.
  • Supporting a variety of SEN; Autism (ASD), Dyslexia, ADHD, and Speech & Language difficulties.
  • 1:1 and group support - In and out of the classroom.
  • Working alongside a range of professionals and SENCO.
  • Attending weekly training sessions.
  • £90 - £105 per day
  • ASAP Start
  • Based in Newham
  • Monday to Friday only
  • Term-Time, Long-Term, Full-Time

The Ideal SEN Support

  • Degree from a reputable University.
  • Must have an outgoing, forward-thinking, and creative personality.
  • You must be willing to learn and get stuck in with multiple roles.
  • Strong understanding of SEN is required.
  • Previous SEN experience in either a working or personal level would be desirable, but not essential.
