About the Role
Simply Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive London-based school. This role is ideal for a passionate educator with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) who thrives on creating engaging, tailored learning experiences for pupils with diverse needs. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver structured, differentiated lessons to meet individual student needs.
- Work closely with SEN support staff to provide a nurturing learning environment.
- Implement EHCPs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and external professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with SEN students in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and the ability to differentiate instruction effectively.
- A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students with additional needs.
