We are seeking SEND Teachers with experience in Early Years to join our dedicated team at a leading SEND school in Lambeth. We welcome applications from both SEND specialists and mainstream teachers who have a passion for inclusive education and want to make a positive difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons for children with SEND, including Autism, communication difficulties, and developmental delays.
- Use your expertise in early childhood development to foster a supportive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to support each child's individual learning journey.
- Track and assess pupils' progress, adapting strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Support personal, social, and emotional development, helping children build confidence and independence.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working in Early Years (either in SEND or mainstream settings).
- A genuine passion for working with young children, including those with special educational needs.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
