Inspire and Support Students as an SEN Teacher in Harlesden!

GSL Education are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teachers to join one of our client schools in Harlesden. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the education and well-being of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

 

As a SEN Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering tailored lessons and interventions to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters progress and well-being.
  • Assessing and monitoring students' progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
  • Collaborating with SENCOs, support staff, and external professionals to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Providing emotional and behavioural support to students, promoting their social and emotional development.
  • Building positive relationships with students and their families, ensuring effective communication and support.

 

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching students with SEN.
  • Specialization in SEN or relevant SEN teaching qualifications are advantageous.
  • A passion for working with students with SEN and a commitment to their educational and emotional well-being.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Effective classroom management skills, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service.
