We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a special school catering for children and young people between the ages of 7-19 with additional learning needs. The school offer day and residential provision for students with a diverse range of needs including Moderate to Severe and Complex Learning Needs.

In this exciting role you will.

  • work part of a specialist team to lead class groups as a SEN Teacher in all aspects of the curriculum
  • prepare and deliver inspirational and creative lessons
  • deliver highly effective teaching, learning and assessment and make a broader positive contribution to school life
  • promote a love of learning and enable our pupils to make progress towards positive academic and EHCP outcomes

We'd love to hear from you if;

  • you have qualified teacher status in the UK and/ or experienced SEN Teacher from overseas
  • you are passionate about helping children and young people reach their full potential
  • you have experience working with SEN learners as a SEN Teacher
  • you have excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • you are able to think creatively and engage positively with learners with a broad range of complex needs
