The Role - SEN Teacher
This SEN Teacher role is to teach a class of 5 children who have ASD, ADHD some of whom are non-verbal and have challenging behaviour, this is a KS3 class, some children are working at a lower ability level. As a SEN Teacher you will have experience planning and delivering stimulating lessons, you will be familiar with ASD and have strong behaviour management skills. The ideal SEN Teacher will have SEN experience this may have been in a mainstream school setting.
The School - SEN School
This SEN School is located in Hackney they provide education to children ages 4 - 16 who have SEN, ASD, ADHD and MLD some of whom are non-verbal. They have a great SLT who ensure that staff have state of the art resources to provide children with fun and enjoyable lessons to reach their full potential. They have CPD and career progression for all staff. Along with being located a short walk from the nearest station, they also have on site parking, this school is easily accessible using most transport links.
