The successful SEN Teacher applicant would be joining an outstanding SEN school in Southwark for children with severe learning difficulties. This SEN school offers provision for pupils from 4-19 years, who have severe learning differences. The school provides a range of unique enabling environments, both indoor and outdoor, which are used to maximise learning opportunities and meet pupil's specific needs and allows the students to gain independence and life skills using a student - centred curriculum.

SEN Teacher Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement personalised educational programs based on a curriculum that centres around students needs.

- Work with individualised care plans to maximise student potential, development and success. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and educational psychologists.- Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere.- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting approaches as the SEN Teacher in the classroom.- Engage with parents and caregivers to support student development at home and in school.

- Work with and lead a support team within the classroom

SEN Teacher Qualifications- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.- Strong knowledge of ASD and SLD.- Experience working in a primary education setting is preferred.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
