We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our amazing team in Greenwich. This role is ideal for a compassionate professional who is committed to enhancing educational experiences for students with special educational needs.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver individualised lessons that cater to the specific needs of each student.
  • Assess and record students' progress, adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and specialists to develop support plans that address students' educational and emotional needs.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to achieve their full potential.
  • Implement and adapt curriculum materials and educational practices to meet the requirements of students with diverse educational needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) certification.
  • Experience in special educational needs (SEN) settings is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the strategies needed to manage and support SEN students effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and external agencies.
