Teachers are required for the following classes:

  • PMLD for Secondary (working at birth to 18 years) Non-verbal, sensory processing, complex needs and learning disabilities.
  • SLD/MLD - Key Stage 3 learners working at YR 1/YR 2 academic level.
  • Early Years - early stages of exploratory and physical development (birth to 11 months)

Teaching Assistants are required for classes throughout the school.

The successful applicants will have:

  • QTS or equivalent (excellent unqualified practitioners will also be considered).
  • Previous experience working with PMLD, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Complex Needs and/or Physical/Mental/Sensory Impairments.
  • Ability to implement a wide range of teaching techniques.
  • A calm, patient manner and ability to react positively to a fast-changing environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students.
  • Ability to support with aspects of Personal/Intimate Care.
  • Hold an enhanced Child or Child & Adult barred list DBS certificate.

*The school will consider individuals who have experience in mainstream schools as they will be providing onsite training and CPD.

The school is looking for excellent teachers and practitioners who have a love of learning, energy, enthusiasm and resilience, ideally interviews and trials days will be arranged ASAP.
