Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with ASD/SLD? We are urgently seeking a Secondary ASD Teacher to join our wonderful SEN school located in the beautiful borough of Brent.

As a Secondary ASD Teacher within this school, you will have the incredible chance to inspire and empower students with ASD at Key Stage 4 to reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of essential tasks, including:

  1. Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with ASD.
  2. Creating and implementing personalised learning plans, ensuring each student's unique abilities and challenges are taken into account.
  3. Providing a nurturing and supportive environment where students feel safe, valued, and encouraged to thrive.
  4. Collaborating closely with a team of dedicated professionals, including teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff, to ensure a holistic approach to education.
  5. Assessing and monitoring students' progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly to promote continuous growth and development.
  6. Utilising a variety of specialist resources and assistive technology to enhance student's learning experiences.
  7. Building strong relationships with parents and guardians, fostering open communication and involving them in their child's learning journey.
  8. Participating in regular training and professional development opportunities, staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in ASD education.
