Academics are currently looking for a SEN Teacher to work in an excellent and vibrant Primary School in the Wandsworth area. This school has an excellent curriculam which enables student to develop and progress academically. The School seek to provide a comprehensive and balanced curriculum for all children; that includes setting adequate learning challenges, responding to pupils' various learning needs and overcoming potential barriers to learning and examinations.

What you need to have:

  • An SEN Teacher with experience in working with SEN students
  • Qualified Teacher status
  • Ability to work with different Special Education Needs across different year groups
  • To assist in the curriculum's development and delivery while taking into account the kids' social, physical, and educational requirements in a classroom setting.
  • To cooperate as a member of a multidisciplinary team with other employees.
  • Knowledge of child protection protocols and safeguarding concepts.
  • Proficiency in handling a variety of behavioural methods, including challenging behaviours.
