Milk Education have partnered with a specialist primary school in London, Lambeth who are looking to appoint a passionate, creative and strong KS2 Class Teacher.
The successful educator will be a resilient individual who is able to plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons, that can adapt to each students needs. The students who attend this school have varying needs, preference and experience will be taken into consideration, whether this is in their ASC Class, PMLD Class or SEMH Class.

This role is to start full time in January, with the potential for a permanent opportunity as the school expands.
Non Negotiables for the SEN Teacher KS2 role
- Qualified teacher status
- (Preferred but not essential, training can be offered) Experience of working with children with SEMH, ASC, ADHD AND/OR PMLD
- Understanding of the UK Curriculum
- MUST be a team player

Areas to Suceed in the SEN Teacher KS2 role
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies
- A good understanding of how children learn
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet pupils’ needs
- Ability to build effective working relationships with pupils
- Knowledge of guidance and requirements around safeguarding children
- Knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies
