We are looking for a dedicated and experienced SEN & PSHE Teacher to join our team, providing targeted tuition in the Haringey area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work after school hours, supporting students' personal and social development in a 1:1 or small group setting.



Position Details:

  • Location: Haringey
  • Start Date: Immediate start
  • Hourly Rate: 40 per hour
  • Work Schedule: After school hours (flexible schedule)
  • Contract: Part-time, hourly-paid position
  • Subjects: Personal, Social, Health, and Economic (PSHE) education, with a focus on SEN students


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored PSHE lessons that engage and support SEN students in a meaningful way.
  • Adapt lesson plans to meet the specific needs and learning styles of each student.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Build positive relationships with students to help them develop key life skills, confidence, and independence.
  • Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and parents/carers.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with children with SEN in a teaching or tutoring capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of PSHE curriculum and experience in adapting it to suit various learning needs.
  • Ability to manage behaviour and support emotional well-being.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is not essential, but teaching experience is a must.
