Rated an 'Outstanding' SEN school, they are currently looking to recruit a passionate Primary SEND Teacher who is committed to promoting student development providing exceptional support for students with Autism, Learning Difficulties, and Complex Needs. Position Overview: Seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Special Needs Teacher to join the team starting in November 2024. This position is temporary, ending at the conclusion of the current academic year, with the potential for permanent contract based on performance and organisational needs by March 2025.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs and abilities of students with Autism, Learning Difficulties, and Complex Needs.

  • Implement differentiated instruction strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to student learning and growth.

  • Collaborate with colleagues, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.

  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods as needed to ensure student success.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student achievements, attendance, and behavior.

  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to provide regular updates on student progress and collaborate on intervention strategies.
