Milk Education are working with a client who are currently recruiting for a SEN Tutor where you will support children on a 1:1 basis within various environments such as homes, hubs and local libraries. For this role you will be an experienced Tutor with a minimum of 6 months experience. You will be supporting students with varying backgrounds, needs and abilities, and all students with have an EHCP. You must be confident to tutor Maths and English as a minimum. Ages of students which you will support will vary between 11 years - 25 years of age, and will have varying needs.

Support will depend on the child's needs, this could be:

- Speech and language support

- Creative, Sensory and Motor skills support

- Maths and English support

Responsibilities as a SEN Tutor:

- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in various subjects

- Assess students' learning needs and develop personalized lesson plans

- Help students improve their academic performance and achieve their learning goals

- Utilize effective teaching strategies and resources to enhance student understanding

- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians

- Collaborate with teachers and parents/guardians to support student learning and address any concerns

About you as a SEN Tutor:

-        Previous experience tutoring or working in education, particularly with children

-        Strong knowledge and understanding of the subject(s) being tutored

-        Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

-        Confident supporting children and young additionals with SEND

-        Able to plan and prepare resources

-        Reliable and consistent
